In bottled food, beverage, sauce and daily chemical production, aluminum foil sealing is widely used to improve package integrity and product protection. However, some sealing defects are difficult to identify through conventional visual inspection, while manual sampling cannot provide continuous inspection of every bottle on a high-speed line.
HISTOM has introduced the HSD-T200A Aluminum Foil Seal Inspection System for inline quality inspection of bottled products after heat or induction sealing.
Using infrared thermal imaging, the system captures the thermal distribution of the sealed closure and analyses the image through high-speed processing and intelligent algorithms. It can target missing foil, lifted edges, and reversed or double foil, with automatic rejection of detected defective products.
With a maximum inspection speed of up to 220 bottles/min, the HSD-T200A is designed for integration into continuous production lines. It supports bottle diameters of 30–300 mm, bottle heights of 50–500 mm and cap diameters of 9–200 mm.
By combining non-contact thermal imaging, automated decision-making and rejection, HISTOM aims to help manufacturers move from manual sampling toward more consistent inline seal quality control.
