SCOPE OF APPLICATION
The food metal detector is designed to detect ferrous, non-ferrous and stainless steel contaminants in food products and automatically reject contaminated products from the production line.
It is suitable for a wide range of food applications, including packaged foods, snacks, bakery products, meat, frozen foods and other processed foods. The system can be installed at the end of automated production lines for continuous online inspection and automatic rejection, helping improve product safety and production quality.

The food metal detector is an online inspection system designed to detect ferrous, non-ferrous and stainless steel contaminants in food products. It is suitable for a wide range of applications, including packaged food, snacks, bakery products, meat, frozen food and other processed foods.
As products pass through the detection aperture, the system continuously monitors for metal contamination. When metal is detected, it automatically triggers an alarm and rejection mechanism to remove the contaminated product from the production line. The system can be integrated into automated production lines for continuous online inspection, helping improve food safety, product quality and production efficiency.

WORKING PRINCIPLE
Operating on the principle of electromagnetic induction, a metal detector utilizes an internal transmitting coil to generate a high-frequency alternating magnetic field, while two oppositely wound receiving coils on either side maintain a real-time electromagnetic balance (zero signal); when a product contaminated with metal passes through the inspection tunnel, the high magnetic permeability of ferrous metals or the eddy current effect induced within non-ferrous metals instantly disrupts this equilibrium, causing the receiving coils to capture a faint voltage differential signal that is sent to a DSP processor, which triggers the downstream rejection mechanism (such as an air jet or pusher) within milliseconds to precisely intercept and eliminate the defective product.
